New Kitchen

I am finally getting a "new kitchen."  Amid all the squeaky floor we have dealt with for a while, (too long to count years),  we are getting new flooring and new counter tops.  Yeah!  So, since my oven and fridge are in the den, tonight is pizza night!  Yummy!  But I can't wait to have a new floors and counter tops to enjoy!

Chocolate Addiction

I absolutely LOVE chocolate, so tonight after my girls were in bed, I made homemade chocolate chip cookies.  I added an extra bit of cocoa, so they have extra chocolate. Yummy with a very cold glass of milk.  Now to read a good book before bedtime while the house is quiet.

Introducing Your Writer From the Heart

So, I'm not sure about the title, but for now it works.  I am a stay at home mom with two beautiful daughters (ages 5 & 2).  Enough said!  AND it's hard work to stay at home as I used to be a teacher.  I taught for twelve years in my former life.  I never really imagined myself as a mom that would stay at home.
So, as I begin this new journey, bear with me as I Write From The Heart.
